From London to Lostwithiel for branding agency.

A London branding agency has relocated their business to Cornwall. Felt Branding, run by Scott Manning and Libby Milla has moved its studio from London to Lostwithiel.

Established in 2007, Felt Branding has worked with businesses and organisations from United Nations to Macmillan Cancer Research and Pizza Express creating, developing and evolving their brands. The team has a wide range of experts, from strategists, graphic and interior designers to copywriters, web developers and photographers. Creative director Scott works alongside Falmouth University graduate Tessa Cartledge and the creative team while Libby manages strategy and project development.


Libby says: 

“Our focus as an agency is to use our expertise in design and branding to grow businesses, delivering a return on investment with effective and thoughtful design. We want to understand our clients’ business, whether building from scratch, communicating change, increasing awareness and market share or making a shift in audience groups.
“When channelled in the right direction, intelligent, creative design can work wonders and engaging with your audience is key: it’s what makes us tick and what makes our brands stand out.”

Working closely with clients and tailoring design and brand strategy to their business aspirations enables Felt Branding to work with everyone from small start-ups to international brands on a long-term basis to support their business aspirations. Family business, Reeve Wood has worked with Felt for 7 years, growing their business from £750,000 to a £1.5million turnover.


Libby says: 

“Our research demonstrated that Reeve needed to move away from the domestic market and reposition themselves with professional architects and interior designers.
 “We developed a strategy to that end and gave them the right visual and marketing tools to access that market and have worked with them ever since. We are now working with them on their new product ranges, diversifying their audiences and helping them grow to a £2 million turnover in the next two to three years.”

Far from simply graphic design and logos, Felt Branding work professionally across a number of disciplines in order to achieve client objectives, including Strategy, Naming, Identity, User Experience, Site Development, Digital apps, Print, Packaging, Environments, Product Design, Uniforms, Film, Photography and Art direction.


Already working with a number of Cornish businesses such as Fowey Valley Cider and Wheelbarrow, Felt Branding also helped Darren Hawkes Landscapes secure funding for his award winning, gold medal RHS Chelsea Flower Shower garden with their brand development.


Libby says:

“We want to build more ties with the business community and local talent in Cornwall. We still have a presence in London, but Cornwall has such a rich and diverse range of businesses, so we’re excited to start helping more local brands now we’re based down here.”
