Government grants to boost your business broadband are still available

The Government has extended the Connection Voucher scheme to 50 cities across the UK (including Exeter and Plymouth) with £40m of funding to help businesses get the best from their broadband.

Connection Vouchers of up to £3,000 for faster, better broadband through the Government’s Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme are still available.

The scheme is active in 50 cities across the UK and is administered by each city through over 861 registered suppliers.

Over 40,000 businesses are already benefiting from the scheme which contributes up to £3,000 to cover the installation costs of upgrading to a faster and more reliable connection for your business.

Businesses could get a fibre optic, cable or wireless broadband connection - the benefits of which include:
  • increased productivity - thanks to the ability to do things faster
  • improved customer service - offering a wider or more reliable way for customers to get in touch
  • access to new markets  - using video conferencing for example.

To find out if your business is eligible, please visit the Connection Vouchers website at: and enter your postcode for an instant check.
