Torbay's business breakfast debate will help you acheive marketing success
The next Eat, Drink, Network business breakfast on 4 September will focus on marketing and how businesses can find the right balance between digital marketing and traditional marketing.
At Vantage Point Business Centre in Paignton, speakers Anita Newcombe and Matt Ryman will debate the two forms of marketing and the successes and advantages each can bring to a business. Both professionals are experts in their fields, but operate in different ways.
Anita Newcombe, who co-publishes English Riviera Magazine and is co-Director of English Riviera Marketing, was for many years Managing Editor of the hugely popular Devon Life Magazine and its sister titles in the South West, while Matt Ryman manages his digital marketing agency from Paignton called Spiders and Milk.
Adrian Sheen, Business Centres Manager for South West Business Centres, said:
“The way businesses are conducting their marketing is ever changing in today’s digital world. There is an argument that it can be done solely using social media but there is still a real benefit for businesses that use traditional methods such as copy in print.”
“Our debates so far have offered a unique insight into the different ways local companies do business and all the attendees have found the events informative and thought-provoking.”
Anita Newcombe said:
“This topic offers real potential to debate the variety of different communication channels that can be used when marketing a business. My experience in publishing and as a PR professional has enabled me to help businesses get their messages successfully across to their customers.”For just £8.00 networkers can enjoy a light breakfast with refreshments while building relationships with other businesses across Torbay and South Devon, receiving practical business advice and listening to motivational speakers.
The new event has a clear purpose, serving a specific market sector with a less formal atmosphere and structure. Local businesses have the opportunity to network over breakfast before the debate begins.
