Regional branch of the RSA Reinventing Work Network launches
The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) are launching a South West branch of their Reinventing Work Network, kickstarted by events across the region this December.
Building on the success of the RSA Reinventing Work Network events in London, these workshops aim to kick start a regional branch of the group in the South West.
They will draw on the recent global research of Frederic Laloux and his book Reinventing Organisations to find practical ways to start the journey towards becoming 'next stage' organisations in the South West. Laloux found huge improvements in organisational efficiency, increased profits, reduced costs, greater customer satisfaction, and lower staff turnover. You can watch his inspirational talk at the RSA here.
Those curious about reinventing their business or organisation, want to network with other forward thinking professionals, and identify some simple changes that can be explored are encouraged to come along.
Matt Black Systems in Poole is a living example of a 'next stage' organisation which proves the viability of such a model in the South West. Founder Julian Wilson will be involved in the workshop.
The workshops are free and open to anyone who might be interested, but numbers are limited so booking is essential. There are a number of initial workshops taking place across the South West (Exeter – 24 November), (Plymouth – 1 December), (Truro – 2 December).
The RSA Fellowship is a network of people who support the RSA’s mission to enrich society through ideas and action. By participating in this event, you agree to the sharing of your name and organisation with other delegates so that they can contact you through MyRSA, our online platform: please follow the link to edit your profile and contact preferences. Your registration details will be displayed on this Eventbrite page as: forename, initial and organisation. If you do not wish your name and organisation to be shared, please contact: email@example.com.
