Selling to the MOD: Procurement event for SMEs
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) are visiting Bristol to engage with small and medium sized businesses. This event will describe the procurement opportunities available and how to become part of the MOD supply chain.
The MOD spends approximately £14 billion a year procuring a wide variety of products and services to support the Armed Forces, both on operations and in peace time. In addition to complex military equipment requiring highly specialist suppliers and leading edge technology, the MOD also procures more ordinary ‘commodity’ items including:
- Food for ration packs
- Estate and facilities management
- Fuels and utilities
- Medical Supplies
- Consultancy services
There are very few products that the MOD may not have a requirement for, either directly or indirectly, at some stage.
The event is hosted by NDI and will take place at GKN Aerospace Services Limited, Bristol on Thursday, November 26, from 9.30am - 1.30pm.
NDI is a membership supply chain and business development organisation. Its mission is to provide intelligence led business development opportunities to members. NDI will explain how it works with companies to match and source business opportunities and facilitate introductions.
