Creative Industry Finance is a programme designed to assist creative and cultural enterprises in securing the finance and investment needed to develop and grow into sustainable businesses, and is delivered and managed by Creative United. The programme launched across England in September 2014.
The programme offers tailored business support to a wide range of creative enterprises, with a focus onsupporting them through the process of applying to one of our lending partners for a business loan.
Creative Industry Finance is lead and managed by Creative United, with National Lottery award funding from Arts Council England. The programme is delivered in partnership with a specially selected group of lenders and a network of expert business advisors.
Creative United is a Community Interest Company established to provide support, services, finance-based and other products that can deliver economic growth, development and other benefits to businesses, not for profit organisations and enterprises and individuals (including individual artists and creative practitioners) operating within the cultural and creative industries.
The company has been set up with the support of Arts Council England with a remit to take forward and develop further the programmes of work previously delivered on its behalf by ArtCo Trading Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Arts Council England). Examples include Own Art, Take it away and Creative Industry Finance.
