Devon and Somerset based companies with less than 250 staff are now able to attend leadership and management training courses - free of charge under the ESF Skills for Growth initiative.
There are no match funds required, no limits on how many people can access the training or how many courses they do, and it's fairly easy to apply.
Companies with 8 or more staff wanting to do the same course can have a tailored version to suit their needs, while those with fewer staff will be clustered with local organisations until 8 are ready to start.
Some of the courses available include:
> L2: Team Leader Award (3 days)
> L3: Coaching Award (3 days)
> L3: Leadership Award (5 days)
> L4: Leadership Award (3 days)
> L3: Enterprise Award (5 days)
> IT: Some IT training skills can also be covered
Our courses are run mostly in-house, where the benefits of developing your staff on your systems, using your procedures and at times/dates to suit your commitments, makes for truly powerful learning. GEL SW also attracts Government funding and has a role to distribute those funds as far and wide as possible, meaning we work hard to make the funds work hard for you.
All programmes can be delivered bespoke to your company, either at your premises or a suitable venue of your choice.
Where demand is just a few members of staff, we can cluster groups together and deliver “open programmes” in central locations.
Finally our extensive online training enables us to provide flexible learning while minimising off-the-job time.
