One Stop Ideas Shops are monthly events designed to provide specialist information and guidance on protecting a business idea or product.
For just £25* you can receive guidance in a confidential setting from a variety of experts including PATLIB UK, Plymouth University, NJ Akers & Co Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, Francis Clark, Bright Solicitors, Outset Finance and the Social Enterprise - University Enterprise Network (SE-UEN).
Support is also available for those looking to create or develop a Social Enterprise through the SE-UEN, who offer well-informed advice and a solid understanding of all social enterprise matters, which means they can help you find the right solutions for you.
What are the benefits?
One Stop Ideas Shop provides a forum for individuals to talk through their ideas in a confidential setting, receive face-to face guidance on how to protect them, and explore any potential for a business opportunity.
How does it work?
These events are very popular and places fill up quickly, so booking is essential. Sessions are available at the Career Gateway in the Roland Levinsky Building, Plymouth University and at the Innovation Centres in Cornwall. The One Stop Ideas Shop normally runs from 2pm-7pm on the 2nd Monday of the month and from 8am-12pm on the 4th Thursday of the month.
