Tamar Science Park
Tamar Science Park occupies a 25-acre site to the north of Plymouth city centre and currently has around 80 resident businesses employing some 650 staff. These include medical, science, technology and knowledge-based companies.
The Park, which is owned by Plymouth University and Plymouth City Council, has 116 units ranging in size from shared start-up space to office suites for teams of 25-plus.
On-site facilities include reception, managed telephony and broadband services, postal and courier services, office cleaning, CCTV, ample free car parking, bistro and on-site security. Tenants can access the park 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Resident businesses benefit from a range of business support services designed to foster growth and business development. These are being enhanced to include mentor support, an investor readiness service to ensure businesses and people with ideas can present a compelling business case to investors; a business development fund; and packaged commercial services such as legal, human resources, accounts and ICT.
