Looking for Business Mentors
We are a group of students from the Plymouth University who are planning for an expedition to the Baffin Island in 2016 and we hope to use this experience to gain employability skills to enrich our CVs for graduate employment. And one of the things we are thinking of doing to enrich the experience is to change the expedition into some sort of an entity, like a charity, non profit or company. And so we would like to ask does anyone can discuss or give us some advice? Where can I find a business finance guru who's a new start-up in South Devon?
I'm in the process of setting up a South Devon business and given the size of the project am looking for a finance director/business accountant or someone along those lines who would like to be involved in this enterprise from the outset. They would be either a new start-up or indeed someone who is a sole trader who is looking to expand their current business, perhaps not trading for very long. There are ample start-up support businesses in the South West to contact but the majority seem unable to give out information as to specific services as they need to be seen to be impartial.
