Superfast Cornwall Fund
The Superfast Cornwall Fund is a £2 million fund to accelerate business growth in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly though the use of superfast broadband. It is part of the Business Boost suite of funds.
The fund can award grants of between £1,000 and £50,000. This can be up to 50% of the total cost of the investment you are making and your business will need to fund the remainder.
The sorts of activity covered by the fund could include:
- Introducing cloud computing, video-conferencing and/or Voice Over Internet Telephone (VoIP) systems.
- Developing a new approach to your internet marketing and/ or operations to enter new national and global markets
- A new business model or a new product or service that is enabled by superfast broadband
- Business collaboration and 'virtual teams' enabled by superfast broadband
The fund is managed by Cornwall Development Company on behalf of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership and Cornwall Council.
