Business Catalyst Fund
The £5 million Business Catalyst Fund is aimed at businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly that want to improve business productivity through investment in capital or revenue projects. It is part of the Business Boost suite of funds.
Investments start from £10,000 and there is no maximum level of funding. You can apply for funding of up to 50% of the total investment and your business will need to fund the remainder. However, the amount you can apply for depends on the size of your business.
- Businesses employing over 250 people can apply for a 30% investment.
- Businesses employing between 50-250 people can apply for a 40% investment.
- Businesses employing less than 50 people can apply for a 50% investment.
The Business Catalyst Fund can cover both capital and revenue investments. Capital investments could include fixed assets such as plant, machinery, land or buildings. Revenue investments could include project development or delivery.
The fund is managed by Cornwall Development Company on behalf of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership and Cornwall Council.
