Angel investment activity co-ordinated by Devon & Cornwall Business Council alongside the Economic Development department of Devon County Council
The aim of Devon Business Angels is to bring together small companies wanting to grow and individual investors who have skills and expertise that can help those small companies develop.
This has mutual benefits: it offers Devon businesses the chance to grow; it enables investors the opportunity to invest their money locally; and ultimately it serves to improve the Devon economy, bringing benefit to all.
The scheme is only open to businesses that are looking to grow - it is not a rescue package.
The scheme is simple: investors contact Devon & Cornwall Business Council or Devon County Council Economy Department directly for a completely confidential conversation. Details are taken of the likely investment opportunity they would wish to be engaged with and in which sector, together with details of any specific skills or expertise that they can bring to small companies.
