Blue Skies and Green Lights

This informative and inspirational free event is being organised by Somerset County Council, the Connecting Devon and Somerset Programme and Plymouth University. It will focus on new models of innovation and collaboration.

The Open Innovation Project aims to create jobs and new businesses by stimulating the application of collaborative open innovation models to co-create and develop new products and services. To do this a partnership of local governments, universities, business support services, and other public bodies is delivering a diverse and dynamic programme of activities across the UK, France, Germany, Ireland and Belgium.

Delegates will be able to take a look at the future of communications technology with a 'futurologist' from BT. They will also learn about accessing funding opportunities and can choose from a variety of workshops aimed at helping them to 'up their game' in business.
