Growing opportunities in booming retrofit sector
Homes and businesses are looking to invest in their properties, improving energy efficiency and lowering bills.
This growth is being driven by incentives such as the Energy Company Obligations and the Green Deal, which are soon to start delivering large volumes of work.
The retrofit of energy efficiency measures to properties in the South West is a huge opportunity for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs). Ready for Retrofit is here to help eligible businesses understand and access this market.
Ready for Retrofit is a three-year, ERDF-funded business support programme led by the Energy Saving Trust and delivered by Regen SW.
It offers intensive business support to small and medium sized businesses based in the south west (excluding Cornwall).
The programme does this by giving each eligible business a dedicated expert advisor, access to free bespoke training and information events and a £500 business development voucher.
The programme also has a capital fund to help registered social landlords pay for large scale improvements to their housing stock, stimulating local demand.
